El viernes 16 de abril visitó el centro la Concejala de Salud y Educación del Ayuntamiento de La Oliva Joana Pérez Carreño para conocer de primera mano nuestros PROYECTOS ERASMUS+ 

On Friday, April 16, the City Councillor of La Oliva Town Hall Joana Pérez Carreño visited the center to learn first-hand about our ERASMUS+ PROJECTS.

La Coordinadora de los PROYECTOS ERASMUS+ y de los PROYECTOS ETWINNING, Carolina Ramos, acompañó a la Concejala explicando los beneficios que LORESU ha traído a nuestro centro y también comentó con ella como había sido la movilidad virtual celebrada el pasado mes de febrero con lo que se puso fin a este bonito proyecto que ha marcado un antes y un después para nuestro centro. También Carolina Ramos explicó a Joana Pérez las iniciativas que se están llevando a cabo con nuestro nuevo proyecto ERASMUS + FIT4THOUGHT.

The Coordinator of ERASMUS+ PROJECTS and ETWINNING PROJECTS, Carolina Ramos, accompanied the Councillor explaining the benefits that LORESU has brought to our high school and also commented with her how the virtual mobility held last February had been like, so this beautiful project ,whicht has marked a before and after for our high school, was put to an end. Carolina Ramos also explained to Joana Pérez the initiatives that are being carried out with our new ERASMUS + FIT4THOUGHT project.

Nuestro proyecto ERASMUS+ FIT4THOUGHT ha organizado actividades para celebrar durante abril el MES SALUDABLE. El objetivo es fomentar y dar información y herramientas al alumnado y al profesorado para llevar una vida sana física y mentalmente. Como no sólo es suficiente llevar una dieta saludable, en estas actividades está muy presente la realización de deportes y luchar contra el sedentarismo. La aportación de LORESU es que durante este mes se realizarán actividades deportivas con nuestros DEPORTES TRADICIONALES CANARIOS.

Our ERASMUS+ FIT4THOUGHT project has organized activities to celebrate the HEALTHY MONTH during April. The aim is to encourage and give information and tools to students and teachers to lead a healthy life physically and mentally. As it is not only enough to eat a healthy diet, in these activities sports are very present and fight sedentary lifestyles. The contribution of LORESU is that during this month sports activities will be carried out with our TRADITIONAL CANARIAN SPORTS.

IES LA OLIVA celebra el DÍA MUNDIAL DE LA POESÍA creando el ÁRBOL DE LA POESÍA en donde el alumnado ha copiado poemas escritos por escritores/as canarios/as después de haberlos leído en el aula.

Agradecer a las profesoras Chamaida y Marita, coordinadoras del proyecto E- MUY-LEE por organizar esta actividad y seguir el espiritu creado por LORESU de incluir y estudiar contenidos locales y regionales en nuestro centro.

IES LA OLIVA celebrates the WORLD POETRY DAY creating the POETRY TREE where students have copied poems written by Canarian writers after having read them.

Thank you Chamaida and Marita, Coordinators of the E- MUY- LEE project for creating this activity and contribuiting with the Loresu philosophy of studying local and regional subjects at school.

El 15 de marzo la Coordinadora de los proyectos europeos Carolina Ramos fue invitada a participar en el programa de radio del IES LA OLIVA en donde informó de la marcha de los Proyectos Erasmus + LORESU y FIT4THOUGHT y también de los proyectos Etwinning  de los que el centro forma parte (LEARN, REVEAL THE FOLK METEROLOGY and KINDNESS IS THE KEY). 

On 15 March the Coordinator of the European projects Carolina Ramos was invited to participate in the radio program of IES LA OLIVA where she reported on the progress of the Erasmus + LORESU and FIT4THOUGHT Projects and also of the Etwinning projects of which the centre is part (LEARN,  REVEAL THE FOLK METEROLOGY and KINDNESS IS THE KEY).

Como ya viene siendo habitual, desde que en octubre de 2018 comenzó nuestro proyecto ERASMUS+ LORESU, que nos ha dado la oportunidad de incluir contenidos canarios de distinta índole en nuestro currículo escolar, un años más y cada 21 de febrero celebramos en nuestro centro EL DÍA DE LAS LETRAS CANARIAS.

En la edición de 2021, el homenaje ha sido para la escritora NATALIA SOSA AYALA.

Alumnado de 1 ESO A, B, C, D ,E y alumnado participante en el PROYECTO ERASMUS + LORESU han organizado y participado en esta conmemoración creando una exposición con las biografías de diferentes escritores/as canarios/as prestando una mayor atención a la figura de NATALIA SOSA AYALA.

Agradecemos a las profesoras Marita de León y Chamaida Torres, coordinadoras del proyecto MU-LEE-Y 3.0 y a Carolina Ramos, Coordinadora del Proyecto Erasmus+ LORESU su implicación y esfuerzo para dar a conocer la literatura canaria en el IES LA OLIVA.

As usual, since in October 2018 our ERASMUS+ LORESU project began, which has given us the opportunity to include Canarian contents of different kinds in our school curriculum, one more year and every 21st February, we celebrate in our high school THE DAY OF CANARIAS LETTERS. The Canarian Government has decided to set this day to commemorate all the Canarian writers who have helped to develop and spread the culture in and of our Islands.

This year NATALIA SOSA AYALA has been chosen as a relevant figure of the Canarian literature not only in Canary Islands but also in the Spanish literature.

Students of 1 ESO A, B, C, D, E and students who belong to the ERASMUS + PROJECT LORESU have organized and have participated in this event creating an exhibition with the biografies and pieces of different Canarian writes works paying special attention to NATALIA SOSA AYALA.

Thank you very much to the teachers Marita de Léon and Chamaida Torres, coordinators of the project MU-LEE-Y 3.0 and Carolina Ramos, coordinator of the Project Erasmus+ LORESU spreading the Canarian literature at IES LA OLIVA.

Del 15 al 19 de febrero realizamos la MOVILIDAD ONLINE con el alumnado de 1º ESO C y tuvimos muy claro que nuestro proyecto LORESU LET’S STUDY LOCAL AND REGIONAL SUBJECTS AT SCHOOL se merecía un gran final. Así que en esta ocasión también alumnado de 2º ESO D Y E y alumnado de 3º y 4º ESO participaron activamente en este encuentro.

Desde el IES LA OLIVA decidimos que junto con las actividades online también queríamos que el alumnado participara activamente y conociera de primera mano la cultura, historia, gastronomía, naturaleza, folklore, etc de Madeira y, como no, de los beneficios que nos ofrece tener proyectos ERASMUS + en nuestro centro.

De esta manera, en nuestro instituto, se visionaron videos de Madeira y su patrimonio, jugamos en la distancia con preguntas relacionadas con todo lo aprendido en nuestras movilidades y con nuestro proyecto en general, hicimos puzzles online con nuestras banderas, países y también hablamos de nuestra riqueza natural y plantamos plantas autóctonas canarias dentro y en los alrededores de nuestro instituto.

Me siento muy orgullosa de haber sido la Coordinadora de LORESU FUERTEVENTURA. Agradecer al ALUMNADO Y A SUS FAMILIAS, DOCENTES, EQUIPO DIRECTIVO, PERSONAL NO DOCENTE DEL IES LA OLIVA que en estos casi dos años y medio que LORESU ha estado en nuestras vidas hayan mostrado su apoyo y cariño a nuestro proyecto.

I am very proud to have been the Coordinator of LORESU FUERTEVENTURA. Thankyou very much the STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES, TEACHERS, MANAGEMENT TEAM, ALL THE STAFF OF IES LA OLIVA that in these almost two and a half years that LORESU has been in our lives have shown their support and affection for our project.

From 15th to 19th February we carried out our ONLINE MOBILITY with the students of 1st ESO C and we were very clear that our LORESU LET’S STUDY LOCAL AND REGIONAL SUBJECTS AT SCHOOL project deserved a grand finale. So this time also students of 2nd ESO D AND E and students of 3rd and 4th ESO participated actively in this meeting.

From IES LA OLIVA we decided that, together with the online activities ,we also wanted our students to participate actively and know first hand the culture, history, gastronomy, nature, folklore, etc. of Madeira and, of course, the benefits offered by having ERASMUS+ projects in our center.

In this way, in our institute, videos of Madeira and its heritage were viewed, we played in the distance with questions related to everything learned in our mobilitys and our project in general, we did online puzzles with our flags, countries and we also talked about our natural wealth and planted native Canarian plants inside and around our institute.

FIVE COUNTRIES, FIVE CONTRIBUTIONS es el nombre de nuestra última movilidad. Desde que en octubre de 2018 iniciamos este bonito camino con nuestros socios Croacia, Italia, Polonia y Portugal cogidos de las manos y que, en ningún momento nos soltamos, tan sólo hemos obtenido alegrías, esfuerzo, motivación y ganas de seguir adelante.

FIVE COUNTRIES, FIVE CONTRIBUTIONS is the name of our latest mobility. Since we started this beautiful journey in October 2018 with our partners Croatia, Italy, Poland and Portugal holding hands and never let go, we have only achieved joys, effort, motivation and desire to move forward.

La alerta sanitaria por la COVID -19 hizo que nos detuviéramos un poquito en ese camino para mirar alrededor y saber que ¨sí se puede». En la distancia virtual alumnado y profesorado continuamos pensando en positivo y nunca perdimos la esperanza de poder terminar, como se merecía, este gran proyecto LORESU Let’s study local and regional subjects at school.

The health alert for COVID -19 caused us to stop a little bit on that road to look around and know that you can.» In the virtual distance students and teachers continue to think positive and never lost hope of being able to finish, as deserved this great LORESU Let’s study local and regional subjects at school project.

Desde un principio decidimos NO CANCELAR nuestra movilidad y cuando nuestras Agencias Nacionales nos dieron la oportunidad de prolongar el proyecto, no lo dudamos ni un momento y desde casa, con nuestros ordenadores, tablets, conversaciones sin fin por whatsapp, la gran FAMILIA LORESU, porque WE ARE FAMILY, empezamos a planificar nuestro reencuentro en Madeira.

From the beginning we decided NOT to CANCEL our mobility and when our National Agencies gave us the opportunity to prolong the project, we did not hesitate for a moment and from home, with our computers, tablets, endless conversations by whatsapp, the great LORESU FAMILY, because WE ARE FAMILY, we started planning our reunion in Madeira.

El resultado de este trabajo fue que la semana del 15 al 19 de febrero celebramos nuestra movilidad online y fue todo un éxito. Con la alegría de vernos en la distancia y comprobar que lo que ha unido LORESU no lo separa nadie y, mucho menos la COVID, nuestros socios y país coordinador Portugal organizaron una semana llena de actividades en donde los recuerdos, los resultados obtenidos, el poder de nuestras culturas y de sus patrimonios, nos han hecho ver que LORESU, en nuestros centros escolares ha venido para quedarse y que ya forma parte de nuestra vida.

The result of this work was that the week of February 15-19 we celebrated our mobility online and it was a success. With the joy of seeing us in the distance and seeing that what has united LORESU is not separated by anyone and, much less coVID, our partners and coordinating country Portugal organized a week full of activities where memories, results obtained, the power of our cultures and their heritage, have made us see that LORESU, in our schools has come to stay and that it is already part of our life.
